The annual budget for the Herberg is R4 million. The major expenses include salaries, travel, food, groceries, clothes, maintenance of buildings and school fees.

TAX BENEFITS

THE INCOME TAX ACT ALLOWS TAXPAYERS WHO MAKE DONATIONS TO PBO'S REGISTERED COMPANIES UNDER SECTION 18A TO DEDUCT THESE DONATIONS LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM OF 5% OF THE DONOR'S TAXABLE INCOME BEFORE THE DONATION.
